Recently, I've been lack of inspiration, that's
the reason why I haven't posted anything; however, I've found a topic in this
mental block. The aim of this entry is to compare and contrast the ideas of
waiting for inspiration or trying to find it writing.
Everyone, at least once, has had a problem with
inspiration since we cannot control how our imagination works. Some people
believe that you have to wait until you find inspiration to keep working and
others think that, as sometimes you don’t have time to wait, you need to take
charge of your work even when your mind doesn’t want to help. When you have to read
a story, you need to use your imagination, so it’s supposed you have it when
you are writing. Many writers have blocked problems and have tried to pass them
in different ways like taking a break, going to the cinema, brainstorming,
reading a book, playing videogames, etc. Everything that makes you disconnect,
helps you to get inspired, but you have to be patient. In contrast, there are
some people who consider that inspiration has nothing to do with them. They
support a different way of creating based on working hard and researching is
their greatest supporter. Both are good ways to create depending on the person.
A lot of people use both of them to create, and they are similar to each other
since they are useful techniques of writing. To sum up, I would say that both
of them are equally necessary because everyone needs inspiration to write, and
everyone needs to write even without inspiration.
